Blogging is a great way to establish a presence online, build a relationship with your customers, and generate substantial income on the internet. Blogging is great because anyone can do it, from total beginners to veterans who have been online for years. Here are some simple ways to supercharge your blog to generate more traffic and earn even more money from it.

1. Comment On Other Blogs

Becoming active in conversations is a fantastic way to increase interest in your own blog, and one of the best ways of doing this is to comment on other blogs in your industry. If you do this, it is important not to spam and leave junk comments, but rather try to actually reply to what the post is about and put some thought into it. Also important: don’t forget to link back to your own blog!

2. Keyword Research

While it is very important to write great content that will benefit your readers, it can also be helpful to do some keyword research before writing your blog posts. This will allow you to rank for certain keywords in search engines and, if used properly, can dramatically increase the amount of traffic that your blogs receives.

3. Track Everything

Far too many bloggers are not keeping tracks of their stats, so they don’t know what is working and what isn’t. Whether you use tracking software such as Google Analytics or simply the Awstats that your web host provides you, it is important to keep track of what posts are getting traffic, and what links your visitors are clicking on. This will allow you to make changes in future posts to better serve your readers wants and needs.
