Blogging + Twitter = Perpetual Traffic and Business Growth

Blogging is one of the most effective ways to generate perpetual traffic and ensure your business growth with least effort. But the effect of blogging can be multiplied effortlessly by simply including Twitter into the equation and free.

Simple formula that is not only guaranteed to work but also fully tested by me and here are the steps to get it done:

1. Auto Submit Your Blog Posts to Twitter and multiple other social networks - Be sure you only do it to networks that you actively participate in and contribute other valuable content to avoid a “spammer” label.

Beauty part is that you have many options to implement this process. Since I use WordPress I can highly recommend “pingpressfm” plugin that interfaces with ping.fm service and allow you to integrate Auto-Tweets and so much more.

That gives you a start but don’t just stop there…

2. Don’t Let the Auto-Tweet Die - Consistency and persistency pays of in hips as we all know it and importance of the follow up should not be overlooked. Once you have post published on Twitter be sure to interact with your followers, ask their opinion and ask for feedback on your new post.

People love to give feedback and share their options and by simply asking them to provide their honest opinion you begin to generate the waves of people who like the fact that they were asked. Now you have a stream of people coming to your blog and reading your new post with intent to interact.

People are already willing and ready and your next step is to simply…

3. Ask your followers to “Re-Tweet” Your Post - You already managed to capture their interest and it is only next logical step but you have to ask for it and lead to it. Being social it is very natural for us to return the favor to a person who expressed genuine interest in our opinion and you will discover that your request will fall on willing crowd.

But all the step above will only bring you traffic, how do you ensure the business growth?

4. Collect Your Visitors Contact Information - One step overlooked by so many bloggers that leads to their eventual demise and failure. We are all suffering from information overload and unless you have a way to contact people who showed interest in your content, chance are great you will never see them again.

Don’t be shy to offer something of value to your visitors in exchange for subscription. Email marketing for bloggers has nothing to do with spamming as long as you do it right and it will ensure not only Perpetual Traffic but also your Business Growth.
